Busy, busy, busy!

Life got busier with a bang yesterday when schools re-opened, so I won't be able to post as often as during the past month. My blog-hopping time has also been cut down to a few minutes a day unfortunetaly! But I promise to say come say "Hi!" and leave a comment at least twice a week. :)

Had the mother of all migraines last night and today - felt extremely sorry for myself when not even the migraine cocktail my sister brought me just after sunrise this morning took the pain away. My guardian angels worked overtime to get me to the pharmacy and back, but I'm happy to report that I'm my old self again.

Be good and don't misbehave too much while I'm getting back into routine!

Quick, while she's not looking! Let's steal her stuff! No, that's mean. But let's TP her yard!

back to school... the meanest phrase on the planet for a teacher. I'm pretty well certain it's harder for teachers than for students. Once the excitement of the first few weeks wear off you are just stuck in there...

Ughhh I can't even think about it right now. I've still got a few more weeks of vaca and I'm already having panic attacks.

Another teacher here -- social studies. You?

I hope the migraine passed. I can't remember if dark chocolate is good or bad for them. Hopefully, they help!

I think school is very bad for migraines. Maybe your doctor can write you a note and you can play on the computer for another week ;-)

I will miss you! I am distressed to find how apparently widespread is the awful condition of migraines. I am pleased you are better.

Great fun at school!

I hate it when my 'real' life gets in the way of blogging/reading etc. It is just so unfair. Too bad we couldn't find a way to change it!

Glad the migraine settled a bit. I hope it stays away.

Migraines? You poor thing. I've only had two in my life and boy were they memorable.

Here in the northern hemisphere we'll do our best to keep the non-school experience interesting.

Furrow, you've been caught out! Hehehe funnyface :)

Jenna: I agree on that statement of yours, this has been a week in hell for me! I'm noise-sensitive like nothing before, and the kids seem to do their best making as much noise as possible.

Lori, I'm teaching mostly Computer Literacy for Gr 1 to 7 but also Natural Science to the Gr 4's. The worst of the migraine passed, but I'm struggling with sinus headaches that is just as bad in a way. If I can just find a doctor that will arrange for someone to do my work while I'm getting better! :)

Lady Macleod: I've been thinking so much of you with all the goings on in Zimbabwe - we could talk for hours about issues surrounding that but there are much nicer things to occupy our time with huh? I'd rather take another migraine than have Mugabe as a president.. lol!

My reality - I hate that too! Guess I need to find that handsome, rich man so I could spend most of my time blog-hopping. :)

Geohde: I'll be thinking of you - it's really hard getting back into the swing of things, but each day is better at least.

Pamela Jeanne, I wouldn't wish a migraine on my worst enemy. Wait, I would! hehehe

Schatzi - right back at you! mwhah! :)
