It looks as if my mom's cancer has spread despite the chemo therapy. The fluid in her lungs was tested and the results showed its filled with cancer cells. She's not doing well physically: she is extremely tired, and has difficulty breathing and speaking. My dad's not doing so well either, understandably so. Please pray for them, for the rest of my family too.
I won't be posting very often: words seem few and far between. Besides, Infertility doesn't seem so bad when my heart is aching for my mom...
Life is so precious, and time is running out.

Oh Karen. I so feel for you and your family. How awful and hard beyond words this must be to face. Prayers certainly, but is there anything else we can do to help alleviate the pain and suffering? Just ask, we're here for you.
Karen, I am just so so sorry...such an unfair hand you all have been dealt.
Please know you and your family are in my prayers.
Karen- I am just lost for words for you - I will offer prayers for your family
Karen, I am terribly sorry for you. I will pray for you and your entire family through this difficult time.
Karen,
I am so, so sorry. I wish I could do something, but this is the kind of stuff that just hurts. Know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers.
Pax,

I know what you mean about sometimes feeling like infertility is a "trifle" in the light of life-threatening illness. But, sometimes, infertility steals the life right out of you too... So don't feel bad for still feeling bad about the infertility too ok? I'm giving you permission to feel however you need to feel. (Sounds silly but once someone said that to me, and it was like someone took a huge burden off of my shoulders, to somehow feel less bad than I was... if you know what I mean.) Please know that I'm thinking of you, along with all your other cyber-dudes. Lots of thoughts and prayers will be sent heavenwards for you!
(let me try again)
Words are so inadequate, Karen. Please feel the love energy I hold for you and your mom between these two parentheses, then mulitply by a gazillion:

Dear, Karen -- my heart pours out to you. I'm beyond words, too... Just hoping that you can your family can find some peace and comfort during all of this.
So sorry to read this my dear! Bloody cancer, I know too many people with it to not be affected when I hear of someone else with this cursed illness! Big HUGS to you.

Oh, I am so sorry. I will be thinking of you and your family.
Karen, I am so sorry. There really aren't the right words. The connection one has with one's mother is unique and very deep. I wish there was more I could do. But certainly I will offer prayers for your mom to be comfortable and find peace. And for your family to find solace in one another.
I am so sorry you so much to stress about.
